About Chase

I'm Chase Hommeyer, a Bay Area expressive arts practitioner, lifelong educator, and soon-to-be Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, (BBS AMFT Application submitted— license number expected in Nov. 2026). I hold an A.B. from Princeton University and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS). I have one year of experience as a therapist and 10+ years of experience as an educator and coach supporting people to express their truth and achieve their goals.

I believe healing can be both deeply meaningful and surprisingly playful. My approach is creative and combines body awareness and genuine human connection to help people feel heard and seen. You can move toward a life that feels more authentic and meaningful to you.

    Recent Therapy Client

  • "I know it's their job, but I feel like some people do the bare minimum, but Chase really went above and beyond helping us and my family so much, and I really appreciate them for that."

    Recent Family Therapy Client

  • "Meeting with my family really helped, because you understood my mom's perspective, but you also understood me. Now we haven't been fighting half as much and things have been better since then."

    Recent Family Therapy Client

  • "Chase made me feel comfortable and supported. They didn't overstep. Chase helped me verbalize my emotions and turn them into something I was proud of. Writing with Chase made me process my grief more than going to my previous therapist ever did."
